Fellowship of Catholic University Students

FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students) Only a handful of universities in the United States are fortunate enough to have a team of FOCUS missionary students. At JP2, we are blessed to have one of them. Through the approval of the Bishop, these four young, college graduates were sent to our Newman Center on a two-year charter, to help excite, evangelize and even guide students about the Catholic faith.

FOCUS is a national organization founded by Curtis Martin and headquartered in Greeley, Colorado, works on the principle of "spiritual multiplication"; the men and women missionaries serve the students at the University of Illinois by leading Bible studies, providing one-on-one leadership training in evangelization and Christian living, and host large group events once a month. The goal of FOCUS is to transform the culture we live in for Jesus Christ one individual at a time.
