Alumni Kickoff Event
In this day and age it can be difficult to stay connected to one’s roots. People graduate, re-locate, and (hopefully) obtain employment. That’s why it is important for us as human beings to make time for friends and fellowship. I found myself enjoying both at the Alumni Gathering just a few weeks ago. I had the opportunity to catch up with some old friends and meet some current students, all who have called the Newman Center their spiritual home. It was wonderful remembering all the good times and it reminded me how much God’s presence can be felt when we gather to celebrate life and the Love of God. Talking with current students engendered within me a sense of stewardship; that I might be able to give back to the community that fostered my spiritual growth. My hope is that other Newman Alumni will hear that same call. by George Totleben, Applied Psychology 2005
Are You an Alumnus/a? As  an alumna of the Newman Center, every time I stop by for Mass or for a quick prayer in the Chapel, I cannot help but reminisce about my wonderful memories there as a student. And now I have a great opportunity to stay connected and be invited back to participate in a place that meant so much to me during my undergraduate career, and so do you! The Newman Center recently formed the JPII Newman Center Alumni Board. This group of individuals is committed to work together to create spaces for Newman alumni to stay involved with the Center and its students. Are you an alum? Let us know! We'd love to hear about your ideas about how to connect alumni with the current students. Please contact Brian Daley at God Bless!

As students come and go throughout the Newman Center, one thing remains, how their faith continues to flourish as they go out and become members of the adult community
