The Integritas Institute for Ethics has been a program of the JP2 Newman Center for more than a decade. Its inception developed from the need to provide the secular UIC campus, a religious framework for decision making.

Over that time, our goals have remained consistent, to work in tandem with UIC to provide a balanced education for students, as there is a clear relationship between our intellectual, moral and spiritual lives.

With the belief that students who receive a balanced education will evolve as complete persons with respect to each other and society, we are providing a solid ethical foundation from which to base behaviors. Making a strong impact within the medical and business colleges, the Institute consistently makes a strong impact within the medical and business colleges, by providing relevant topics of discourse, and inviting speakers at the top of their fields to share how theory becomes practical in every-day decision making.

As consumerism continues to become the driving force of society and disengages people of their responsibilities, we understand the need for a strong resource that provides students with the guidance they need, reinforced by faith.
