by: Jaff Zaman My RCIA experience at the Newman Center was a very informative experience. In the entire year that I have spent, I have learned so much about the Catholic Church, and I am very excited that I will be entering the Church this Easter. I hope that when I start my Catholic journey, that I will be able to apply the stuff that I have learned from the Newman Center and evangelize it to others and hopefully bring Christ to others. I have made so many friends on this journey towards Christ and they have been so supportive, and we all help each other grow in Christ. I have had fun being with everyone in RCIA, eating pizza, having jokes, and enjoying being in everyone's company while at the same time, learning about God together, and we have all built an amazing community together.
At first, when I started RCIA, I wasn't too sure about converting to Catholicism, but then after some time, and prayer, and advice from my RCIA teacher, I was able to make that decision without any hesitation to become Catholic this upcoming Easter. It just made me want to know Christ a lot better, and I had this thirst for reaching the Lord.
